SHIPPING POLICY

SHIPMENT DELIVERY TIMELINES:

Orders placed before 11 pm ET generally ship the same day. In the event of high order volume, the order will be shipped the following business day. Delivery times are based on the distance from our New Jersey warehouse. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information as well as update tracking emails until your order has been delivered.

During periods of high volume (sales and major promotions) it will take longer to process and fulfill. We ask for your understanding and patience while we do our best to process and fulfill orders as quickly possible.

UNDELIVERABLE/LOST/RETURN TO SENDER PACKAGES:

If your package does not successfully deliver and is sent back to Unity Hair, it is typically due to insufficient address information. Your package will be returned and “Returned to Sender” will be stated on your tracking information. This can happen if:
The shipping address does not exist
The shipping address is misspelled by the customer
The shipping address is missing information (i.e. apt/bldg/suite number)
The carrier is unable to safely deliver the package
The addressee has moved
The addressee has refused the package
Returned to sender packages will be restocked and you will be issued store credit in the form of an E-Gift Card minus the initial shipping charge. We are unable to replace or reship in these instances as all returned shipments are processed by our Returns Department. Instead, please use the E-Gift Card to place a new order using the corrected address. However, please note that we do not guarantee your items will be in-stock at the time of your reorder.  We also do not guarantee that your item will be the same price as your original order.
Note: We are unable to make changes to orders that are placed on our system. To ensure that your package is properly delivered, make sure that your address is entered correctly and includes all relevant information. The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) are critical to ensuring delivery. Unity Hair does not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments.

SHIPPING TO PO BOXES:

Please note that most companies accept shipments to only valid street addresses and do not ship to P.O. Boxes. If your order is submitted with a P.O. Box in the Shipping section, we will contact you to choose an alternate address and, if required, submit your order to payment review. 

RETURNS SHIPPING:

Please note that all exchange and return orders shipping charges shall be handled by the customer. Unity Hair will provide the return instructions and the customer will have to ship the order back to our warehouse at their own cost. Any shipments arriving beyond the stipulated time frame of 15 days will not be considered as an eligible return.

FRAUD PROTECTION:

Please note that to avoid any fraud happening with our customers, we verify suspicious purchases with a proper physical photo of the customer’s ID as well as the card used for purchase(last 4 digits) before we can process the shipment. Once verified, we exercise the capability to hand over the orders shipped out to the customer only with a signature requirement.

ORDER PROCESSING:

Orders place over the weekend will be shipped the first business day. Once shipped, orders arrive within the time frame selected during order placement. Please note, at times UPS may experience shipping delays due to weather, in transit issues, etc. unfortunately this is out of our control. We will not reimburse shipping cost for delays caused by UPS.

Please note that due to COVID-19 guidelines, processing times may be impacted.

SHIPPING DELAYS:

At checkout, we give you a delivery time estimate received from our shipping partner based on your order delivery information. We are not responsible for late shipments due to increment weather, holidays, natural disasters, or carrier delays. Please keep in mind holidays do not count as a business day and should be considered when calculating shipping times. We entrust our shipping partners to deliver your package on time. If your package is delayed, we will not offer a reimbursement of shipping charges.

FAILED DELIVERIES / REFUSED SHIPMENTS / INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS:

Incomplete or incorrect address information is the major cause of shipment failure and delay. Check the address information on your order. Make sure you have included all the information needed to deliver your package. Your order will be shipped via our shipping partner to the address you provide. It is extremely important that you give us the most accurate and complete information possible. If an address correction needs to be made after your shipment has been sent you will be assessed the $10 fee our shipping partner charges us to make the correction. If a shipment is returned to us due to a bad address you will be responsible for additional shipping charges.

No refunds will be issued for refused or abandoned shipments.

INCORRECT (OR) MISSING (OR) DAMAGED ITEMS:

In an unlikely case that you notice the items shipped to you do not match your order or there are missing items in your order or products shipped are damaged, please contact us by sending us an email at support@unityhair.com

DAMAGED SHIPMENT:

If the shipment delivered to you has been tampered or damaged which has resulted in missing products or damage of your products, please keep all the original packaging and contact us immediately by sending us an email at support@unityhair.com. We will get in touch with UPS and work towards solving the issue.

POLICY CHANGES:

Unity Hair reserves the right to make changes to prices, policies and procedures. Please check this page periodically for changes.
